Lighting consultation options
Night Review
Visit to the project property after dark to review the effectiveness of the lighting system. Notes and recommended adjustments are entered in the project. Billed hourly, two-hour minimum.
Supervision
On-site oversight of the lighting installation, by our crew or other contractors: review of the plan and installation methods, guidance on aiming, and enforcement of codes and installation details. Billed hourly.

Lighting design options
Design Plan – Layout Sheet
Lighting layout plan, Sheet 1 of the plan set: basic property layout, transformer locations, and fixture selection and locations, ready for installers. Billed per service.
Design Plan – Fixture Specs & Loads
Sheet 2 of the plan set, added to the layout: conduit runs, calculated loads, fixture specification details, and installation details of materials. Billed per service.
Design Plan – Installation Details
Sheet 3 of the plan set, completing the full package: detail drawings, for example steps, walls and water features; how fixtures are mounted and attached, including on concrete; conduit sizes and wire runs; circuits, loads and zones; controllers and programming. Billed per service.
Plan Revision
Revision of an existing plan: changes, alterations and additions. For example, when the landscape company, concrete contractor or other trades change their plans, when the client asks for a different area or zone, or when a zone has to be redone. Billed hourly.
Custom Fixture Design
Design drawing of one custom lighting fixture for shop fabrication: a rendered image and shop drawings ready for fabrication. For shop production only, as a drawing concept. It does not include lab testing or engineering for mass production or factories. Billed per drawing, one fixture per drawing.
As-Built Documentation
Update of the original layout plan to the actual final work done at the end of the installation, recording what was added, removed or relocated, for client records. Billed per service.

Lighting installation options
Installation – Multi-Zone System
Multi-zone FX Luxor designer lighting system, using high-end FX lights with smart Luxor transformers. All main runs are installed in PVC conduit with PVC pull boxes, with 10 AWG wire for the main branches and 12 AWG for distribution. The system allows zoning adjustments, dimming and color control by app. Professional grade. Billed hourly.
Installation – 2-Zone System
Custom lighting system with two standard separate zones per area, for example up-lights and down-lights, or path lights and other areas. Main branch conduit runs with PVC hub boxes as connection points, multi-tap transformers, and brass fixtures with patina finishes. Controlled by Leviton smart switches, with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection as an option. Professional system. Billed hourly.
Installation – Basic System
Landscape lighting system using durable, heavy brass and copper lights, with 10-2 and 12-2 direct burial wire and multi-tap Luzios SS MT series transformers. LED lamps, controlled by electronic timers and photocells. Billed hourly.
Additional Lighting
Work order change to the lighting system: additional lights added to the system. Must be approved by the owner. Reflected in the final as-built plan. Billed hourly.
Tree Lighting Installation
Lighting installed in tall trees, with a climber using full gear and ground support. Billed hourly.
Additional Zone
Additional zone added to an existing lighting plan: more cable, transformers and materials to accommodate another zone in the system. For example, original up-lights and down-lights, with a new zone of path lights. Each zone can be controlled separately. We recommend no more than 3 zones for a regular system. Billed hourly.
Maintenance
Maintenance options
Contract Maintenance (Tier C)
Maintenance program under contract, with visits every 3 or 6 months: check of the lighting system, replacement of burned-out lamps and damaged wires, cleaning and re-aiming of fixtures, and check of transformers, loads and timers. Contract clients receive 10% lower prices and an extended warranty on the initial installation. Billed hourly.
Regular Maintenance (Tier R)
Maintenance service requested by the client, at will: check of the lighting system, and repair or replacement of lamps, fixtures, wires, transformers and timers. The work performed is listed on the invoice. Billed hourly.
Emergency Maintenance (Tier E)
Rapid maintenance service for emergencies and events: check of the property lighting system, cleaning, relamping and re-aiming of fixtures. Billed hourly.

Service call options
Service Call – 1 Technician
Service call for a specific issue, not the whole property, such as repairing cut wires, adjusting wire on trees, removing or relocating lights, or replacing broken lights or GFCIs. Work by one technician: timers, and replacing lamps or fixtures. Billed hourly.
Service Call – 2 Technicians
Service call for a specific issue, not the whole property, such as repairing cut wires, adjusting wire on trees, removing or relocating lights, or replacing broken lights or GFCIs. Work by two technicians: replacing lights and transformers, and going up trees to replace lamps. Billed hourly.
Service Call – 2 Techs + Supervisor
Service call for a complicated issue that requires a supervisor. Work by two technicians and one supervisor. Billed hourly.

Electrical Service – Simple (1 Tech)
Electrician service by the hour, on high-voltage systems. One electrician working on items such as replacing a light fixture, outlet or switch. The work performed is listed on the invoice. Billed hourly.
Electrical Service – Simple (2 Techs)
Electrician service by the hour, on high-voltage systems. A team of an electrician and a helper repairing issues such as replacing light fixtures, outlets, switches and GFCIs. The work performed is listed on the invoice. Billed hourly.
Electrical Service – Panels & Sub-Panels
Electrician service by the hour, on high-voltage systems. A journeyman electrician and two helpers working on systems such as panels, sub-panels, new circuits, chargers and generators. The work performed is listed on the invoice. Billed hourly.
Extra Services
Extra service options
Fixture Assembly & Prep
Fixture restoration, assembly and refinishing of lighting fixtures, in the shop. Billed hourly.
Event Lighting Service
Rental of temporary lighting for events, all in safe low voltage. Includes installation and removal of the lights, for events of 72 hours or seasonal. Must be scheduled 2 weeks in advance. Billed hourly.
Lighting Controls Programming
Upgrade and programming of lighting controls: system controllers updated to new Leviton smart controls, for smart systems. Also Luxor, Lutron, FX and other controls. Billed hourly.
